Performances in Porn

[edit]

The information in this article regarding the pornographic/gay porn performances by numerous men from this program is factual. A link to the web page. It was previously deleted because the only citation was to the pornographic website on which the men appeared. This is a little bit silly considering that linking through to that page immediately leads to nude images and pornographic video clips of the men in question. Be that as it may, the current edit contains a plethora of third party references on this topic. The question is whether or not they are reliable. I understand there are certain protections in place, but having read over the guidelines I'm not sure what can be done. Surely there are exceptions in situations where information is blatantly able to be confirmed as fact? When the "letter of the law" gets in the way of its intent, I feel like there's a problem.

Having said that, the next person who decides to completely wipe out this very relevant, very factual section: I would ask that you take a few minutes to try and find more reliable references before completely removing the content. Any fool can see it's fact by clicking to the porn site in question. So the issue is not in PROVING it's fact. The issue is in meeting the reference guidelines on Wikipedia. It seems to me that there has to be a way to have absolute, clear fact meet these guidelines in a happy medium. CouplandForever (talk) 20:48, 19 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I still think it should be changed, seeing as how there's no plans of another season, but I won't. Captain Marshalls (talk) 00:02, 17 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
